Having said that, all the videos are offline at the moment. I'm getting one up at a time when I get the spare chance, but it's slow going. So just keep trying back every so often to see if it's available yet.
I do have some new content with this update though. A whole batch full of icons that I've been making here and there the last couple of months. Mostly femslashy in origin. So have a look at those if you're interested. As always, please credit jeepy91 if you use them over at Live Journal.
Happy Holidays all!
October 2nd, 2005: I know, I know, the updates have been kind of sparse lately. I have to admit, I've been feeling slightly lazy when it comes to web based things. Plus the great job search has been taking up a lot of my time. But I have managed to complete another Brooke/Peyton music vid. I'm pretty proud of this one and it seems to be going over well with the fandom, which more than I could ask for. I have a bunch of new icons to post as well, but I'm just making this a quick update, so that will be in the next one. If you're that anxious to see them, they're all posted in my LJ. The link to which can be found on the main page of No Other Way.
September 6th, 2005: Added a bunch of new live journal icons, all sorts of different fandoms. I've been reading some tutorials and got inspired to try my hand. I think they actually came out decently enough too. I'm hoping to add a new music video in the next couple of weeks. And I'm working on a Brooke/Peyton One Tree Hill fanfic that will go up here as soon as I finish it up. In the meantime it's over at Femslash Dot Net or FF.Net as well.
August 3rd, 2005: Just a small update with some newly added One Tree Hill Live Journal icons. I spent about two hours tonight trying to reorganize the icon and avatar section of the site. Hopefully it's a tad bit easier to navigate and find things, especially for those with a dial up connection. I'm also trying to get another vid done, along with about five in progress fanfics I've been juggling for the last few months. We'll see how that goes, especially with my lack of creative inspiration as of late.
June 30th, 2005: I finally got all my One Tree Hill episodes imported into my laptop which means I've gone vid making crazy. My first OTH one is not surprisingly a Brooke/Peyton concept fanvid. The first time I've tried to really tell a story through my video instead of just a simple montage pieced together. I hope ya'll like it.
June 2nd, 2005: So I've been having too much fun with PSP lately. Plus the fact I now seem to find myself with alot of free time on my hands. In any case, I've been making alot of Live Journal Icons. I didn't upload em all yet, this is just the first batch, but there's about twenty new ones. A couple random, Happy Bunny inspired ones, some Smallville prettyness and some of the stunningly gorgeous Kate Beckinsale. Snag all you like for Fan Forum type boards, but if you use on LJ, please drop me a credit in your keywords.
May 25th, 2005: Sigh, and so comes the end of another tv season. That nine months sure went fast. Now it's on to a long tedious rerun filled summer. I think I'm either going to become completely unobsessed and hopefully find myself something to waste my time on other than the boob tube. Or I'm going to to go the other way and get so crazed over the summer I'll be making fanvids and fanart out the wazoo.
Speaking of fanart, I have two new ones, new pairings as well. I ended up reorganizing the fanart section a bit, seperating all of the wallpapers by couplings instead of having one massive page that takes forever and a day to load. Hope it makes navigating it a bit easier.
In any case, I have one Brooke/Peyton and one Emma/Shalimar art. I used some new textures that I picked up over at The Magic Box that worked really well with the coloring I wanted to do. And it was the first time I actually cut out images. I'm happy I'm starting to learn the Paint Shop Pro9 ropes.
May 9th, 2005: Hey whaddya know, I might be getting better again at this updating thing!
Anyhoo, I made a brand spanking new fanvideo this weekend, and lookie lookie, it's NOT of Bianca and Maggie. That's totally new and exciting, yes? It's actually of Emma and Shalimar from the unfortunately now defunct sci-fi show Mutant X. These girls are beyond femslashy in the first and second season. And since I spent the last couple of months ripping the episodes from my DVD's onto my laptop I decided to put the pretty girl love to good use. I even created a whole new section in the multimedia area of the site for them. That's how special they are. So go and download and get corrupted into shipping them!
April 29th, 2005: Again my apologies for the gap in updating. I managed to catch myself a pretty bad case of pnuemonia. Spent two nights in the hospital and everything. So needless to say I wasn't feeling up to doing much of anything.
Thankfully I'm feeling a little better though, and since my trial version of Paint Shop Pro was about to run out, I went a little icon crazy. I've also had the lucky opportunity to see some clips of the full length feature of D.E.B.S, and I completely adored it. So I capped some of the scenes and made quite a few icons of Amy and Lucy. The DVD of the movie, with some fairly good extras, is coming out in early June. So if seeing two very attractive girls falling in love floats your boat the way it does mine, I highly recommend checking it out. On top of the DEBS icons, I have a few others of the girl-love variety, along with some sexy girlie goodness.
April 2nd, 2005: I had a feeling once Bianca and Maggie were gone from AMC that I would start slagging off on updates. Looks like I was right. I do have a bit of a new fangirly fixation though. Unfortunately it's a UK girl pop band that is pretty much unheard of here in the States aside from the select few who corrupted me into the fandom in the first place. In any case, I was in need of icons, both for Fan Forum and Live Journal. So I had to make some myself. They turned out alright I think. And also, with my renewed love of Popular thanks to the Season Two DVD set, there's some Sam/Brooke Icon goodness to go along. And a couple other ones in there for good measure. Feel free to snag, but if you're using them for live journal, please do credit jeepy91. And hey, friend me too if you're looking for a pal, I'm always on the lookout for new LJ buds!
March 6th, 2005: Apparently I've been a busy little beaver, midterms and all. Either that or I've just been too lazy to update the site when I make something new. In any case, I've got a pretty big ass update.
First off, I have TWO new BAM vids to share. The first one is based on the Maggie abuse storyline that wrapped up a few weeks ago. I wanted something rather dark with an angry, violent tempo. THe second new vid is a Bye Bye BAM one. The girls flew off towards the Parisian sunset the last week of February, so of course I had to make a vid to pay homage.
I also have about ten new Live Journal icons. I downloaded Paint Shop Pro again, a newer version than what I was used to, so I've been playing around trying to figure it all out. There's some Aly Hannigan ones, along with BAM goodness and some other randomness. Snag at will, but if you use in LJ, please do credit jeepy91. Thanks!
February 17th, 2005: First off, I wanna give all ya'll a big HUGE THANK YOU!
Because of you, we've just passed the 10,000 hit milestone. I'm all verklempt and everything you guys! Thanks so much for being as supportive as you've been these last 18 months.
Anyway, if I can control myself, I do have a goodie for you. Another new BAM vid for the viewing masses. This one I went out on a limb for, since it's a little bit out of the ordinary. It's done to a Sarah Brightman song that's a bit of the New Age side. Personally I'm a big fan of that genre of music, so I hope ya'll are open to it as well.
February 1st, 2005: I've been making some avatars again. I downloaded some decent software onto my laptop and I've been having fun with the gradients. And now that Fan Forum has bumped up their pixel standard from 45x45 to 100x100, I needed to start making my own again. Plus, there has been some MAJOR BAM moments going on the last few weeks. They just begged to be made into some avie prettiness. And given that there was another KISS today between the girls today, I'm sure there'll be another new fanvid up sometime in the next week or so.
After February though I think it might be slowing down here. Eden and Liz are both leaving the show, so no more BAM. But thankfully, they're going together, so I think there'll be plenty of happy ending stuff to keep me busy for a little bit.
January 19th, 2005: This new software on my laptop is completely addicting I tell ya. Two new vids in as many weeks. Apparently I have nothing better to do. This one I really had fun making though, I spent a LOT of time trying to match up the clips with the lyrics as best as I could. And I'm actually really happy with how it turned out. Of course, it's another BAM vid. And really, if you're not already watching, it's definitely time. It's getting SO good between the two of them. Anyway, if you wanna download, it's in the multimedia section, as always.
January 13th, 2005: No new content to report, but I did change the site design a bit. You'll notice at the portal to www.no-other-way.com I've given you another option. Femslash Dot Net is a co-venture between Nikki, Shannon and myself into the realm of femslash fanfic. We've been online roughly a month now and are doing pretty well. Over 100 fics in the archive by more than 70 different authors. If you write your own fic and it's looking for a good home, come on by and see if we can help you out.
Speaking of Nikki, I want to give her big hugs and kisses for the new splash image for No Other Way. Does it not kick loads of booty? Thanks so much girl!
January 9th, 2005: Happy New Year! Personally I hope 2005 completely outshines 2004. Although I can't say that'll be hard considering what my 2004 was like. In any case, I finally got that new laptop I had been blowing smoke about for months on end. And it came with some very nifty vid making software. I had a ball playing with the transitions and video effects. And of course I just HAD to make a new BAM vid. I took advantage of the DVD burner in the laptop too and managed to rip some new clips to go along with the new flashy software. Personally, I'm pretty happy with the outcome. :)
